The US immigration system is complex, confusing, and often cruel. I work with my clients and their families to navigate the system and achieve your goals to live where you want to live. I believe that every person has the right to live where they choose, regardless of arbitrary borders, whether it be to live close to their families and loved ones, to pursue education or work opportunities, to escape persecution, or to follow their dreams, whatever they may be.
I have assisted people from every continent to immigrate to the United States. A leader in the immigration bar, I currently serve as Chair of the New York Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. I am recognized for my expertise and speak frequently on immigration, particularly family-based petitions, asylum, and issues affecting LGBTQ+ immigrants.
I view my relationship with clients as a partnership: My goal is not only to work tirelessly to prepare your case but also to ensure that you understand the process. From the beginning, I will explain your options and I will be honest about your likelihood of success. This mutual understanding is the basis of effective advocacy and is one of the reasons for my high success rate.
In addition to my study of law and my experience in immigration, I have a degree in international affairs, I have worked in human rights and international development, and I have traveled to nearly 50 different countries. At the Law Office of Randall Chamberlain, I put my education and experience to work to assist with all types of immigration issues:
Permanent residence (green card)
Immigration based on extraordinary ability
Immigration for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ+) people
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
